An environmentally sustainable three-bedroom home nestled in the Kent green belt.
Inspired by the rural charm of Sevenoaks, this bespoke home takes design cues from the agricultural barns found in the surrounding countryside. The clean, gable-ended silhouette and refined external detailing hide a vibrant interior, featuring a double-height living space, a dual-aspect fireplace, and a basement cinema room.
Our design approach prioritised sustainable architecture andsensitive design, blending contemporary aesthetics with the character of the Sevenoaks landscape. The material palette — slate, stone, and timber — reflects the natural beauty of traditional barns and farmhouses, harmonising with the localenvironment.
This home goes beyond aesthetics, incorporating cutting-edge technology to achieve exceptional energy efficiency. Built using insulated concrete formwork (ICF), it features triple-glazed windows and a 17m solar panel array on the south-facing roof. These elements work together to meet Passivhaus and low-energy building standards, ensuring minimal running costs and a sustainable future.
